The Dirt Concern, the mountain biking branch of GVBC, coordinates most of their riding through their Facebook page. We also hold Beginner and Kids Mountain Bike rides, which are listed below.

Beginner Mountain Bike Rides

July 2, Ride #2: Beginner / Kids Mountain Bike Ride.
Meeting time at 9 am at Bohart Ranch XC Ski Center
Bring a mountain bike that is tuned up and a helmet.
Bring a spare tube (just in case) and some water.
GVBC/Dirt Concern will provide some snacks for after the ride.
The ride follows a five mile singletrack trail. We will ride at a slow pace and take
plenty of breaks.
Children from age 9 to 90 are welcome. This event is a combination of the cancelled
adult ride and the kids ride.
Looking for 4 (or more) volunteer club members to help guide the group. Contact Greg

July 16, Ride #3: Beginner Mountain Bike Ride.
Meeting time at 9 am at Moser Creek parking lot. Moser is the first left turn about 4 or 5 miles up Hyalite. It is before Langohr campground. From there we will drive 1 mile to the starting location.
Bring a mountain bike that is tuned up and a helmet.
Bring a spare tube (just in case) and some water.
GVBC/Dirt Concern will provide some snacks for after the ride.
The ride follows a seven mile singletrack trail. We will ride at a slow pace and take plenty of breaks. This is a long ride with a significant hill to climb at the end. The hill is not steep. This trail will become an official recommended
beginner/intermediate trail loop with signage in the near future.
This event is for adventurous beginner and average intermediate riders.
