Curious Beginner Singletrack Ride

Hosted by The Dirt Concern of GVBC
.

This ride will take place on July 10 at 9 am sharp.  Meet at the Bohart Ranch parking area (no dogs allowed please).  Cost will be $2 for each participant to cover USA cycling insurance.

Many people are curious about mountain biking, but are intimidated to try this supposedly testosterone tainted sport.  We hope to give you a no pressure opportunity to learn some basic skills by actually doing the activity.  We will provide some minimal instruction and guide riders around the 5-mile Bohart mountain bike loop.  This ride is for cautious adults of all ages.  The pace will match the slowest person.

Items to bring:

  • An adventurous attitude.
  • Your favorite bike with aired up tires and a lubricated chain.
  • A spare inner tube.
  • A helmet.
  • Drinking water.
  • Appropriate clothing for that morning’s weather.

We’ll have post-ride snacks and drinks.

.
To reserve a spot please RSVP Greg at 586-8357.  RSVP preferred (so we can buy enough snacks) but not required.  See you Saturday July 10th!
