Natural Bridge Falls Day Tour, June 25, 2011
.
Join us for a ride to Natural Bridge Falls! Register at 10:00 A.M. at the Lyon’s Club Park on McCleod St. in Big Timber, with a rider’s meeting at 10:20 and the start of the ride at 10:30. The ride is on the paved Boulder Road for 25 miles to the Natural Bridge Falls State Park where we will have lunch (bring your own, but there will be a vehicle to carry them if needed) and visit the impressive 100′ waterfall of the Boulder River. The state park has restrooms but no water so we will have a vehicle meet us with plenty of snacks and drinks. Following lunch we will depart for the downhill return to Big Timber. Riders may wish to stop at the Grand Hotel following the ride for a cool drink. The ride is 50 miles round-trip with an elevation gain of 1030′ from Big Timber to the falls.
