Our Mission
The Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club, based in Bozeman, Montana, is dedicated to providing cycling activities that promote recreation, individual health, education, and advocacy and encourage a more bicycle friendly community in the Gallatin Valley. The Club supports shared-use trails in appropriate and accessible locations.
We hope you’ll join us for some of our rides, and come on out to volunteer at some of our events! If you want to get more involved in helping with rides and events, write to us at gvbcbike@gmail.com.
Volunteer With Us
GVBC was founded in 1978, and is a volunteer, non-profit organization. We sponsor the annual Bike Swap, our biggest volunteer event, which has been a huge success the past couple of years due to the help of our club members!
Our ~1000 members donate time, while our club funds help sponsor a number of local organizations and events benefiting cyclists, such as the Montana Special Olympics, Bike to Work Week, Longest Day of and Trails, the Bike Kitchen, and much more.
Riding Opportunities
DAY TOURS
We organize non-competitive day tours around the Bozeman area, every month, either on Saturday or Sunday. Participants need to be a current GVBC Member to join on these rides.
BRIDGER CANYON CENTURY
The Century Ride is a classic Montana loop with big miles and bigger views. Choose ~87 or 105 miles as the route winds through Wilsall, Clyde Park, Livingston, and back over Bozeman Pass.
WEEKLY GROUP RIDES
Explore a community-curated list of weekly rides and cycling events happening around the Gallatin Valley. Most rides are hosted by local groups—not GVBC—so be sure to check details with the ride host.
