About the Ride
The Horseshoe Hills – Nixon Gulch Gravel ride is a scenic 27-mile mixed surface loop with 1900 feet of climbing. The ride starts and finishes in Manhattan, MT at Taylor Park (gravel parking lot on East Park Ave) at 9:00. After warming up with six miles of pavement on the frontage road from Manhattan to Logan, riders will cross the Gallatin River and climb into the Horseshoe Hills on a beautiful, remote gravel road for 10 miles before cresting a ridge above Nixon Gulch with spectacular views of the Bridger Mountains to the east and the Gallatin Valley to the south. Riders will enjoy the seven-mile gravel descent through Nixon Gulch and the Gallatin River Ranch, followed by three easy miles of pavement back to Taylor Park in Manhattan.

Requirements to Join Our Rides
All participants and volunteers must be GVBC members and complete the touring waiver online. Registration is fully digital - no paper memberships or waivers are available at events. All club tours require membership and touring waivers for insurance purposes.
