Yellowstone National Park Ride

April 11, 2026

About the Ride

Come see Yellowstone in its early-season glory before it opens to cars! Our first touring ride of the year is quickly approaching, giving us a rare chance to pedal through Yellowstone National Park while the roads are still closed to public automobiles (weather permitting, of course).

Spring conditions can be unpredictable, and while traffic is minimal, riders may still encounter park employees, contractors, or snowplows. High snowbanks can narrow shoulders and add challenge, so come prepared for changing weather and adventurous riding — it’s all part of the magic of experiencing Yellowstone as it wakes up from winter.

Details

Meet us at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot in West Yellowstone.  The ride will depart at 11:00 AM.  We traditionally go to Beryl Springs (about 22 miles) eat lunch, and turn around. However, since it’s an out and back ride, riders can turn around whenever they want. When we haven’t been snowed out, it’s always a great ride!
Cyclists may be required to show their YNP pass or pay the fee to enter the park, so remember to take your pass if you have one!
