2022 Weekend Day Tours

All participants including volunteers must become GVBC members AND complete both the touring AND Covid waivers online.
You must do this online BEFORE any event.
There will not be any paper day-of memberships, liability, or covid waivers in 2022.
However, you may sign up from your phone. Credit Card online, PayPal, or mailed checks only. No cash.
Our weekend day tours are non-competitive and are open to GVBC members at no additional charge. All riders are required to sign a liability and covid waiver for each event (there is no fee for rides). Forms may be downloaded and filled out from this site prior to the ride. Due to insurance policies, all riders MUST be GVBC members – Join Today! Although most of the tours are on roads, tours are open to riders of all abilities and any type of bike (road bike, mountain bike, cross bike, etc). Additional details and a map/elevation profile will be sent out within the week of each ride, and are also posted on the website. Be sure to join our email list to receive the information, or email the contact person listed for each ride.

April 9–Yellowstone National Park

June 25–Gallatin Valley Half Century Loop
This 50-mile clockwise loop around the valley starts at Story Mill Park at 9:00 and goes up through Bridger and Kelly Canyons, crosses over to the frontage road, and goes under the Interstate to intersect with Bozeman Trail. Aug 13–Morganzo 55
Coordinated by friends of GVBC but not an official GBVC event/tour. (GVBC membership not required to participate in this ride) Gravel grinding bike ride/race – 55 miles on gorgeous hilly roads west of the Bridgers. Aug 20–Bridger Canyon Century
This challenging 102 mile paved loop starts in Bozeman and goes to Wilsall, Clyde Park, Livingston, and returns to Bozeman. It includes some hills (4700 feet of climbing), stunning scenery, and likely afternoon winds. Some refreshments will be provided on the course, but riders should plan to self-support or purchase their preferred refreshments in Clyde Park and/or Livingston. Meet before the ride at Story Mill Community Park on Bridger Drive (in Bozeman) for pre-ride snacks and coffee. Be ready to begin the ride at 8:00. Bring 2 water bottles and tools for the ride.
