The Willow Creek Gravel Grinder is a scenic 50-mile recreational loop ride that starts and ends at the Willow Creek Café in Willow Creek, Montana. This small town is just west of the town of Three Forks where interstate 90 and highway 287 intersect. Following the Three Forks Main street out of town will lead to the tiny town of Willow Creek where the café is located on Broadway, the main street. Our route heads out of town on Meridian Cemetery Road to the north, crossing the Jefferson River and highway 287 southwest of Three Forks. We continue to the northwest winding through scenic Milligan Canyon heading toward Cardwell and the Boulder River drainage. About the halfway point the Route will head southwest before turning southeast at Highway 287 to return to Willow Creek and the Café. This route gains elevation outbound and has a nice downhill on the return with about half the route almost flat. The total elevation gain on the route is 2214 feet.  Exact route may be subject to change. Contact Neil for updates  nrpoulsen67@gmail.com Map:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29349521
